The 2021/22 Premier League season is hotting up. At the top of the table Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are already pulling away from the chasing pack after just nine games. Leicester City vs. Arsenal

In the first game of match week 10, Leicester City will look to continue their impressive run of form. Brendan Rodgers’ men had a tough start to the season but have rallied to win their last two and are unbeaten in the last four games. Arsenal have had a similar start and are currently on the same points (14) as Leicester. Mikel Arteta’s men haven’t lost in five games, but the jury remains out on the North London team who still appear way off the pace. As all this suggests, the oddsmakers are having a tough time separating Leicester and Arsenal. We’ll be backing the +145 favourites Leicester to make good on their home advantage and pull three points clear of +188 underdogs Arsenal.

Prediction: Leicester City +145

Liverpool vs. Brighton

Jurgen Klopp’s side looks simply unplayable right now. The bookmakers have noticed the impressive form Liverpool are in and have made them monumental -400 favourites over Brighton who are priced at +1000 to get a result at Anfield on Saturday. We will, of course, be backing Liverpool to get the win but in order to get the best odds possible, you may need to add some extra predictions to your Liverpool bet. We’ll probably back Mohamed Salah to continue his goalscoring exploits for an 11th successive game.

Prediction: Liverpool -400

Manchester City vs. Crystal Palace

Manchester City have been in good form without being at their brilliant best at the start of this Premier League season. Pep Guardiola’s men are just two points off the top of the table and have lost just once. They are -600 favourite to beat Crystal Palace at home this weekend. However, we think Palace might be able to take a couple of points from the defending champions. We’ll be backing the draw at +650. If you think Patrick Vieira’s men can cause a true upset, they are priced at +1400.

Prediction: DRAW +650

Tottenham vs. Manchester United

This big game just got even bigger. After a good start to the season, Manchester United are currently in freefall. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have lost four of their last five Premier League games. On Sunday, they suffered what is perhaps the most humiliating defeat in their history when Liverpool ran riot at Old Trafford, scoring on five occasions. The United manager appears to be on the brink of being sacked. A bad result at Tottenham could well seal his fate. Nuno Espirito Santo appears to be in a similarly precarious position despite leading his team to 6th place. Spurs fans appear to already growing tired of his style of play. A win against Man Utd could really help boost morale but the bookmakers don’t fancy their chances of pulling it off, you can find Spurs at odds of +180. United are the +130 favourites. For us, it’s hard to bet on either of these teams We think a draw will be acceptable for everyone and it is the most likely result when these two teams square off this weekend.

Prediction. DRAW +260

Aston Villa vs. West Ham United

The wheels appear to be coming off at Aston Villa as of late. Dean Smith’s men have lost three on the spin and it doesn’t get any easier this weekend. West Ham United will make the trip to Villa Park on Sunday. David Moyes’ men are the dark horse of this Premier League season. They are currently sitting fourth in the table after picking up 17 points in their first nine games. West Ham have won their last two games and have already picked up victories over Everton, Manchester United and Tottenham. We will be backing them to make it three in a row this weekend at odds of +145. If you fancy Villa to get things back on track they are priced at +175, while the draw is +250.

Prediction: West Ham United +145

Newcastle United vs. Chelsea

This is a very straightforward game. While morale is currently high in Newcastle following their recent takeover, the team is still in a state of flux. Now is not the time for them to pull off an upset against league leaders Chelsea. We simply cannot back against Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Prediction: Chelsea -300
