Marcus Rashford available for selection for Man United’s trip to Wolves tomorrow amid disciplinary hearing with Erik ten Hag

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford is reportedly once more available for selection tomorrow night ahead of the club’s Premier League return to Wolves, following a high-profile disciplinary issue – after he reported ill to pre-match training last week, with footage emerging of the wide-man partying in Belfast.

Rashford, who is reportedly set to be slapped with a fine of two weeks’ wages, attended a disciplinary hearing with Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag and chief executive, John Murtough as well as his brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard this week to discuss the issue arisen.

Dropped from Manchester United’s trip to Newport County in the Red’s 2-4 win, Marcus Rashford was instructed to train at Carrington over the weekend, with goals from Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Antony, and a late fourth from top scorer, Rasmus Højlund enough to see United progress to the next round.

And with ten Hag’s starting XI yet to be determined ahead tomorrow night’s trip to Molineux, there is a market available here for odds on United to beat Gary O’Neill’s side – with the former currently sitting as betting favorites as high as -150 to win in their Premier League return.

Amid uncertainty over the future of Rashford prior to his disciplinary issue with the club over the course of last week, a poor return to form and goalscoring for the English winger have saw links for the 26-year-old emerge in the form of a big-money move to French champions, Paris Saint Germain.

As seasons before, World Cup winner, Kylian Mbappe continues to find himself linked with a move to Spanish side, Real Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window – and as a result, Manchester United winger, Marcus Rashford has been largely linked with a move to the French capital in a bid to replace the star.

Speculation has also been rife for United regarding a move for Crystal Palace winger, Michael Olise in recent weeks, who appeared destined to make a big-money swap to fellow London side, Chelsea last summer, however, the Frenchman has remained at Selhurst Park – penning a new deal to boot.

However, amid uncertainty over the future of academy product, Marcus Rashford – as well as the future of faltering winger, Jadon Sancho who has been sent on loan to his former side, Borussia Dortmund earlier this window, life-long United fan, Olise has been spoken in many circles as an ideal candidate to reinvigorate the side’s wide areas.

Most recently featuring in United’s reverse with Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month, following an early goal from the above-mentioned, Højlund and a reply from Brazilian forward, Richarlison, Marcus Rashford gave United a 2-1 lead before half time with a well-placed effort inside the area – breaking his duct at Old Trafford in an eventual 2-2 draw with Ange Postecoglu’s side.

Scoring just four times for Manchester United this season so far in a dire campaign for the English forward, Marcus Rashford’s most recent effort prior to that came in a losing effort on the road to Nottingham Forrest – capitalizing on a late mistake to find the net at the City Grounds.
