Man United betting favorites to launch blockbuster move for Alphonso Davies
Amid heavy links to a summer swoop for Canadian full back, Alphonso Davies, Premier League side, Man United have edged ahead of Real Madrid as the most likely option for the Bayern Munich defender to consider in a potential move away from Bavaria.
Davies, a mainstay at Munich since his emergence with the club back in 2019, retains just a single year on his current contract with the Bundesliga side – and will be free to speak openly to clubs in the new year with the view to a potential summer move.

And fans looking to seize the opportunity and bet on Davies’ future – particularly with PayPal betting sites can do so before the new year, with the Munich defender’s future sure to be become much more clear with both United and Spanish giants, Madrid chasing the Canadian’s signature.
Identified as a potential summer signing for new head coach, Ruben Amorim – who is already implementing his patented 3-4-3 formation and accompanying system, Man United are more than stuck when it comes to the left wing-back position, with Luke Shaw more often than not unavailable, Tyrell Malacia returning just overnight, whilst natural right footer, Diogo Dalot deputising as a result.
The signing of Davies would more than likely suit Man United’s new play style and system to a tee – with the Canadian attacking wing back known for his blistering pace, attacking ability, as well as his well-versed dribbling and crossing ability.
Making over 210 appearances for Munich since his breakout season five years ago, Davies has featured ten times in the Bundesliga’s side already this campaign – in a season where new coach, Vincent Kompany looks to wrestle the divisional title back from Xabi Alonso and Bayer Leverkusen.
And according to significant reports earlier this week, United are well-informed on the situation regarding Davies’ contract – which leaves him available for a huge free transfer as soon as next summer.
Doing business with Bayern Munich to great effect in the past – as recently as this summer, before the appointing of Amorim, United’s board sanctioned a double-swoop for defensive duo, Matthijs de Ligt, and Moroccan full-back, Noussair Mazraoui – with the latter described as a revelation for just the mesely price tag he was acquired for.
As well as a potential move for Davies in the new year – with a view to a summer signature, United have also been linked with a move for Chelsea defender, Ben Chilwel – who seems poised to link up with Juventus in the Serie A under new head coach, Thiago Motta.
Furthermore, hoping to bolster their attacking options in the summer coming, United continue to draw significant links to a move to sign Swedish goalscorer, Viktor Gyokeres – with the former Coventry City and Brighton & Hove Albion forward currently plying his trade to stunning effect with Sporting Lisbon.
During his time with Munich, Davies has racked up a stunning five Bundesliga title victories, to go with a UEFA Champions League victory – and has earned himself an impressive 56 caps with the Canadian national side – where he’s known better as ‘The Roadrunner’ namely due to his massive pace and creativity on the left flank.
