Top four players for the 2026/27 Premier League assist leader
The Premier League is just days away and once again there is so much to play for.
Whilst Arsenal go for another title and Tottenham Hotspur look to get back into Europe there is also a lot at stake for individuals. Erling Haaland is after another golden boot, whilst Bruno Fernandes is looking for another assist trophy.
Whilst Haaland is ahead, Fernandes could face some competition this season, so we took a look at who could stop the Manchester United talisman.
Do you want to get involved in the Premier League from anywhere? You need international betting sites to allow you to win big from anywhere.
Cole Palmer – 10/1

The Chelsea star is expected to return to form this season, under the guidance of new boss, Xabi Alonso.
Last season, Cole Palmer only managed to notch six assists in all competitions but now, in a new style, a lot is hoped of the England international. Playing alongside his best friend, Morgan Rogers, Palmer is more confident and more direct, allowing him better options to play the ball.
It’s this that makes him fourth favourite for the assist crown this season. Palmer is coming back with a vengeance.
Bukayo Saka – 10/1

Arsenal’s star boy is also on the list to challenge Fernandes, hunting a bumper year after winning the title last season.
Despite winning the Premier League last year, it was not the perfect season for Bukayo Saka. Like Palmer, the winger only managed seven assists, six down on his prior campaign.
Now over the trophy hoodoo, Saka is expected to go from strength to strength, returning to his old self after a down season, with Arsenal hunting back-to-back titles.
A strong World Cup could set up Saka for that assist crown after all.
Rayan Cherki – 7/2

Fernandes biggest challenger comes from across Manchester in the form of Rayan Cherki.
The French starlet landed 17 assists in all competitions last season, with 12 coming in the Premier League.
Under new boss Enzo Maresca, Cherki is likely to have a more prominent role, giving the attacker more opportunities to rack up the goals and assists.
Manchester City are Arsenal’s closest challengers, something that they will need Cherki to do to push them. Expect the Frenchman to be at the top of the charts come May.
Bruno Fernandes – 9/4

The owner of the title and the holder of the single season assist record, of course Bruno Fernandes is still the favourite for the crown.
20 assists last season saw the Manchester United talisman achieve the record but this year it will be more difficult. Not only are other sides eyeing up his crown, but Fernandes will have to play more games, as the Red Devils return to Europe.
A difficult task, but one the Portugal international will be in the middle of.
