Newcastle United have already had their fairytale ending to the season – but the thing is, it wasn’t really an ending. Now that they have their League Cup triumph under their belt, it feels like the sky really is the limit for them as a football club.

As for Ipswich Town, they are 15 points off of safety with five games remaining. In other words, they’re almost certainly going down, and it’s somewhat insane to believe otherwise. They’ve had a handful of nice moments in their first campaign back in the top flight but for the most part, they haven’t been able to break through, as has been the case for a lot of promoted Championship clubs in the last decade or so.

Alas, we don’t think the Tractor Boys are going to go quietly into the night. If they can throw caution to the wind and really press teams in the way they did during the first half of the season, they could get a win or two under their belt to build confidence ahead of their return to the second tier.
